For 47 years, the Sinfónica de Minería has brought world-class music to life, earning international recognition for its artistic excellence. Under the direction of Grammy-winner Carlos Miguel Prieto, the Sinfonica de Mineria is more than performance. It is education, innovation, and social impact.

In 2023, the orchestra received a Latin Grammy for its recording of Concerto venezolano by Paquito DRivera just one milestone in a remarkable musical journey.

In the Summer 2025 Season, John Adams will conduct his own Violin Concerto with the orchestra in a landmark event.
