The Beatles Symphonic
Dedicated to the graduates; faculty members; retirees of the UNAM; and their families.
With more than 600 million records sold and recognized by Rolling Stone magazine as the greatest band in rock history, The Beatles remain, more than five decades after their breakup, the ultimate benchmark in popular music. Their songs—Yesterday, Let It Be, Hey Jude, Here Comes the Sun, Blackbird—are part of humanity’s musical heritage and resonate just as powerfully across generations.
In this Minería Pops concert, the Minería Symphony Orchestra and the Minería Symphony Choir, conducted by Raúl Aquiles Delgado, perform four magnificent symphonic arrangements from the Beatles’ songbook: from Henry Mancini’s iconic *Portrait of The Beatles* to Jeff Tyzik’s extensive medley featuring the Liverpool quartet’s greatest hits. An evening to remember the songs that changed the world.
