Thank you!

The music exists because of you.

When someone receives it, the sound becomes meaningful.

There is nothing sadder than a concert without people.

Nothing sadder than instruments that sound for no one.

That's why in the Minería Symphony Orchestra you come before anything else.

Our orchestra exists thanks to you

Thank you!

From an artistic point of view, we arrive at Christmas with many reasons to celebrate.

What we have achieved together over 46 years is impressive.

Every summer something magical happens

Thank you!

Our traditional season offers music committed to excellence at the Nezahualcóyotl Concert Hall in July and August.

So music is not just music.

It is music and something more.

Something deeper, more mystical, more human.

Music becomes a bond capable of uniting, inspiring unite, inspire and transform lives.

And that is only possible thanks to you.

To people like you, who approach music generously and expectantly.

The truth is definitive:

Our orchestra exists thanks to its audience.

The meaning of the Sinfónica de Minería, before anything else, is the people who listen to us.

Thank you!

People who every summer, that this summer 2024, attended our traditional season and:

  • They discovered, with Debussy's La mer by Debussy, that sound can also be color.
  • They listened, in Canto de Macario of Juan-Marcos, a sonorous version of the arid Rulfian poetics.
  • They met Marianne Martinez, an Austrian composer who represents a pinnacle of Classicism and was long forgotten.
  • They confirmed with Tzam that Gabriela Ortiz has the gift of rhythmic exuberance.
  • They enjoyed, in Sibelius' Symphony No. 2, the stylistic affinity that Carlos Miguel Prieto feels for Finnish music.
  • They were astonished by the expressive virtuosity of Anne Akiko Meyers at the Fandangofor violin and orchestra by Arturo Márquez.
  • They celebrated the sardonic, unstoppable wit of Silvestre Revueltas and his Alcancías.
  • They saw Vadim Gluzman return to perform Bruch's First Violin Concerto.

Music has no borders

Thanks to you, we are an inclusive and diverse organization convinced that the possibilities of a symphony orchestra are limitless.

That's why you also listen to us:

  • Collaborate with Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.

Thank you!

The year is over and we have a lot of gifts for you.

In gratitude for your support, we work every day to perform excellent music that moves you and brings you closer to your loved ones.

We are convinced that music has the power to transform lives.

That's why in 2025 we're going to fill your life with music.

The Mining Symphony embraces you and sings to you:

Thank you: the music exists because of you.
