At the Sinfónica de Minería we are committed to the improvement of young Mexican talents. There is nothing more stimulating for a person studying an instrument than to have the guidance of professionals.

For this reason, every year instrumentalists and soloists of our orchestra offer master classes and improvement courses in different musical education centers, especially in the Faculty of Music of the UNAM.

These meetings provide an invaluable opportunity for music students to receive instruction from world-class performers. These classes help them develop their musical skills and broaden their knowledge to aspire to musical performance excellence.

But these encounters also offer internationally renowned performers the opportunity to come into contact with the concerns and quests of young people who provide them with new stimuli and inspiration.

Through our educational programs, at the Mining Symphony we seek to:

• Development of musical skills - Master classes can help students improve their instrumental technique, musical interpretation and understanding of classical music.
• Broadening knowledge - Master classes can help students learn about different musical styles and repertoires.
• Inspiration and motivation: Meeting professional musicians can inspire students to continue their musical training and achieve their career goals. It gives them the opportunity to speak directly with them and ask them any questions or concerns they may have about playing an instrument or singing professionally.
